Emily has been active in the digital humanities for several years, bringing together sound, images, interactive maps, and prose together to tell the stories of the people she researches. Her projects have spanned from Music in the Gulag to Performances of the Ballets Russes to Folk Song Recordings in the American South. Emily also has been working on a forthcoming educational website, Musicology for All, which will house educational materials introducing musicological concepts in music history, theory, intersections with race and gender studies, and more.
